报告题目(中文):Catalytic Transfer Hydrogenation of Aliphatic C-C Bond with Water

报告内容简介:Activation of aliphatic carbon-carbon bond in organic substrates mediated by transition metal complex in the homogeneous system becomes a rapidly growing area of research in the past few decades. In this seminar, the catalytic transfer hydrogenation of carbon-carbon sigma-bond with water using group 9 metal catalysts will be discussed with focus on the kinetic and thermodynamic aspects.

报告人姓名:Ching Tat To

报告人简介(中文):Ching Tat To received his B.Sc. Degree (2010) and Ph.D. degree (2015) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong under the supervision of Professor Kin Shing Chan. After postdoctoral training (2015-2018) under Professor Zhaomin Hou at RIKEN, he returned Hong Kong and engaged as a research associate. To has published in Acc. Chem. Res., J. Am. Chem. Soc., ACS Catal., etc. His research interests focus on the development of sustainable chemical transformation utilizing environmentally friendly reagents and mechanochemical methods.
