报告题目(英文):Recent progress of cryogenic atom probe tomography for hydrogen analyses in metals

报告内容简介:This presentation will introduce the development and our uses of cryogenic-sample-transfer atom probe tomography (cryo-APT) for analyzing the hydrogen in materials, particularly steels suffering from catastrophic hydrogen embrittlement. The determination of the hydrogen localizations and the related technical details will also be discussed. This cryo-APT can be useful for investigating elemental diffusion with the correlation with micro-structural features.

报告人简介(英文):After finishing his master study in ceramic engineering in Taiwan Tsing HuaUniversity, Eason worked in consulting business for 3 years before going back to his 1.5-year research assistant role prior to overseas study. He finished his doctoral research in microscopy at University of Oxford in 2017 and now is a University of Sydney Research Fellow associating with the Australian Centre for Microscopy and Microanalysis (ACMM) and the School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering (AMME), with the mentorship of Prof. Julie Cairney in the same institutes.
